    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct testing and monitoring of key controls, along with thematic reviews in accordance with the Compliance Assurance Programme.
    • Evaluate the scope and testing approach of key controls to ensure they are fit for purpose and in accordance with established department standards
    • Conduct forward-looking regulatory risk assessment across the company periodically based on the methodology
    • Monitor/Write reports which include presentation of results, the rationale for findings, risks posed, and action required to address the risks. These should be presented in a timely manner.
    • Conduct need based fieldwork with the team in line with the agreed program.
    • Work closely with other internal functions and teams to ensure overall compliance to all applicable regulatory and licensing requirements as well as to improve overall control environment and promote sustainable growth.
    • Work with business owners and management, or other governance functions and agree on appropriate action plans, ensure that they understand the issues and their ownership of compliance
    • Apply strong analytical reasoning skills to risk-rate outcomes and determine the level of impact of issues identified.
    • Maintain a broad knowledge of the business and regulatory framework in Banking/Financial services
    • Develop recommendations for corrective actions based on review findings
    • Manage a team of assurance managers. Train, guide and develop the team.
    • Track agreed actions through to conclusion and report on progress upon completion of reviews
    • Examine policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and implement any needed changes.
    • Prepare risk based annual plan for testing and monitoring.

    Job Requirements:

    • Good comprehension skills to understand and interpret the regulatory requirements
    • Attention to details and research oriented approach
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
    • Good knowledge of Regulatory guidelines and Auditing skills.
    • Ability to multi task and Contribute to the development and enhancement of the risk assessment methodology
    • Knowledge of Regulation/Circulars from RBI,SEBI,IRDA
    • Intellectual curiosity and fine assessment of risk and ability to lead/drive the team

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Graduate, preferably with a CA / CS/ LLB or MBA from good institute & experience in banking compliance/Risk commensurate with the required capabilities detailed above
    • 12-15 years of experience in compliance function in the Banking Industry
