    We have an exciting opportunity to help customize a data exploration and visualization platform allowing users to discover new perspectives in their data, by connecting it to existing open data. It helps guide decisions through the use of its custom algorithms and visualizations. Creativity is encouraged and embraced. This role will require a developer to assist with UI/UX and do some design thinking

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
    • Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of custom analytics products and wide web applications
    • Take an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
    • Will work with the R&D and Analytics team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
    • Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
    • Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

    Job Requirements:

    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
    • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
    • Experience developing new user-facing features
    • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
    • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
    • Experience integrating and implementing JavaScript graphics/visualization libraries (D3.js, WebGL)
    • Experience building reusable code and libraries for future use

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Strong working knowledge of front-end frameworks (AngularJS)
    • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
