    Apply intermediate subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Writing code that runs in the cloud (AWS: EC2, SNS,SQS,Kinesis,Lambda etc).
    • Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
    • Designing and implementing new features in a highly scalable and maintainable manner
    • Writing maintainable and scalable code.
    • Picking up a project and running with it.
    • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
    • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software applications design organization.
    • Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
    • Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

    • Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
    • Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.

    • Experience in writing complex queries in SQL

    Job Requirements:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
    • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
    • Evaluating forms and processes for software applications testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
    • Designing and integrating software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
    • Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
    • Extensive experience with multiple software applications design tools and languages.
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • 4+ years developing solutions using Java.
    • Complete understanding of and rigorous approach to testing (TDD or BDD), continuous integration.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
