Job Responsibilities:
- Define process for Oracle assessment and migration process using various migration tools (RMAN, Export/Import, Datapump)
- Lead the Oracle server migration and supervise the team of Oracle migration Engineers
- Handle escalated migration issues related to SQL server migration
- Share knowledge on defined processes, enable team to be able to execute the migration without any issues.
- Define process/runbook for Oracle database server migration event.
- As an Oracle Database SME Participate in Assessment & Planning of Oracle Database migration from On-prem to Azure Cloud environment.
Job Requirements:
- Work with on-shore Database architect and support them during migration planning activities.
- Very Strong experience on Oracle Technologies like DataGuard, GoldenGate, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
- Very strong experience on working with all Oracle version viz. Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c and 19c
- Strong knowledge on Azure/AWS/GCP (either of one) PaaS & IaaS services (build, migration and operations)
Qualification & Experience:
- Oracle Database with GoldenGate, DataGuard and ASM
- Oracle On-Prem Migration to AWS/Azure/GCP
- Oracle Administration Certification (OCA / OCP)
- Azure Administration Certification / AWS Administration Certification / GCP Cloud Engineer
