Job Responsibilities:
- Commvault Vendor coordination: Commvault Maintenance Advantage incident submission and resolution.
- Working knowledge of CommVault
- Patching in a CommVault environment
- Configuring and maintaining CommServe, Media Agents and clients.
- Commvault Disaster recovery and fault tolerant features.
- CommVault auditing, logging and reporting features.
- Drive backup/restore architecture and best practices.
- Understanding of CommVault policies
- Commvault CLI operations,
- Commvault best practices
Job Requirements:
Understanding of following backup operations: –
- Backups (full/incremental) of file system, NDMP, database and applications.
- Restore (file level & application specific).
- Reccovery of OS from backups etc.
- Backup policies, schedules and retention.
- Backup replication and DR.”
